Leg Day Workout
A balanced leg day includes one squat, one hip hinge, and one leg press movement. If squats are tough for you, starting with the leg press is totally fine.
Leg Workout (about 50 min)
| Exercise | Sets | Reps | Rest |
|---|---|---|---|
| Barbell Back Squat | 4 sets | 6–10 reps | 2 min |
| Romanian Deadlift | 4 sets | 6–10 reps | 2 min |
| Leg Press | 4 sets | 6–10 reps | 2 min |
| Lying Leg Curl | 3 sets | 10–15 reps | 1 min 15 sec |
| Standing Calf Raise | 3 sets | 10–15 reps | 1 min 15 sec |
Tips
- On squats and Romanian deadlifts, keeping your back flat comes before adding weight.
- Your leg muscles are big, so they take longer to recover. Give it at least two days before training the same leg moves again.
- If your knees or lower back bother you, swap squats for the leg press and deadlifts for leg curls.
